There is a notion still going strong, it states: fake it, until you make it. And it couldn’t be further from the truth. A fake will never make it! But you, your true inner self. The person you are today. This person will go a long way. Much further than any fake ever could. Stay honest! 

Hi, it’s time to digitize.  


Today we dive into a deeper way of being authentic online.  


Honesty!  


Many people believe, that if they are at the beginning and not super successful yet.


They have to pretend to be things they aren’t.  


Thing is, pretending won’t help you a bit.


Nowhere really.  


See, if you start any relationship with dishonesty, with a lie basically, this relationship won’t be working as well as it could.


Or, in a worse case, it will fall apart before it really takes off.  


And no, I am not only talking about private or personal relationships, I am talking about your business relationships.  


I’ve spent a lot of time learning the principles of the universe and success.


And people mistake envisioning and focus for faking things or achievements to feel successful.


Again, this is not how it works.

See, people smell dishonesty 10 miles away.


Most of the time, they can’t pinpoint it or uncover the truth, but every single time there will be a strange gut-feeling around.


Something that’s telling them… BE CAREFUL, here is something odd.  


If you are like me, and you truly want to make a positive difference and help people achieve what they are set out to do, then you want to be honest.  


It doesn’t matter how much you have achieved already.


Not for anybody really.


The right clients will always find their way to you!  


I’d rather bond with someone who is straight forward, honest to the bone, and direct… then someone who is telling me nonsensical, not provable stories about themselves.  


In a world of fakes, be the one real thing!  

"How do you get honest to the bone without hurting your chances?"

Also here is a fine line between being honest and oversharing.  


You want to avoid this at all costs.


It’s not about making a soul-strip or open up all your issues and troubles to everyone that comes along.


As it might feel honest, it’s truly overwhelming and confusing people.  


Share with your family and close friends, not with your clients!  


Even if you are blessed like me, with the most awesome clients on the planet, try to avoid oversharing.  


Especially at the beginning of a clients journey.


Remember the focus is on them, not you.  


And this is the beauty.


You can be honest and share where you are at and what you can and have right now, all the while keeping the focus of the conversation on them! 


It’s all that matters.  


If they ask you if you have a track-record of jobs done… answer them truthfully.  


If you feel it could be a deal-breaker.


Ask them this:

“Do you want to let your brand and idea look and feel like somebody else? Then we can look at other people and copy them, but honestly, that is not what you are getting with me. Here you will be made unique and powerful in the way that is YOU and nobody else. Sure, we can look up things all the time, yet it won’t help you or me to create what you deserve!”  


You see, bring it back to your client.


And do not focus on what is missing or might be not enough from your end as you are good enough right now already, to do what you love, and bring it to others.  


Get better on the way.


Walk the extra mile!


Learn an additional hour a day if you feel you are lacking in an area.  


But never ever let your truth right now be something that makes you small!


Being honest and truthful makes you big!
